Bruce F. Grau
President and Founder
After graduating from Gettysburg College with a degree in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa), he was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a commercial insurance agent. In 1976 he left the company to start an independent insurance agency known as Bruce Grau & Associates. It was incorporated in 1978 and in 1982 became associated with Frank Russell of Russell Insurance Group. An affiliation known as Grau and Russell Associates was formed to contract with insurance carriers. This partnership of corporations continues to grow with representation of over 20 major "A" rated carriers and premium volume over 50 million dollars.
He has served as president of The Downtown Towson Rotary Club and was past president of The Executive Association of Baltimore. Bruce attained The Certified Insurance Counselor Designation and is an active member in The Building and Congress Exchange and Associated Builders and Contractors. His focus is commercial insurance and enjoys his long term client relationships and developing new clients.
Michael Cheek

Mike is a certified public accountant and has been with the firm for over 20 years. Besides handling the finances and accounting he also handles the employee benefits, licensing and office management. Mike is a true professional who will do whatever it takes to get the job done in an accurate and timely manner.

Anita joined our company in 2007 and has over 20 years experience in Personal Lines. She is “service oriented” and is responsive to your needs with competitive quotes and coverage recommendations.
Jeff Antonelli
Independent Producer
Jeff has been an independent producer with our firm since 1996. With over 20 years experience in commercial insurance Jeff has focused on workers compensation experience rating as a way of reducing premium cost. He is also a specialist in helping the client with compliance issues.
Jim Werking

With over 30 years in designing, implementing and marketing business insurance programs Jim brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the firm. He writes all types of commercial insurance with an emphasis on contracting and non-profit risks.
Robert Lindloff
Account Executive

Bob joined the agency in 2002 after spending many years with a national broker. For over 30 years he has focused on commercial accounts and brings a professional approach to risk analysis and solutions. Bob has also taken extensive training concerning compliance issues and premium reduction.
Blake Curry
Account Executive
Blake has been with the firm for six years specializing in risk assessment and commercial insurance. He has completed the compliance check courses and continues to build a loyal client following with his professionalism and enthusiasm.
Derek Richardson
Account Executive
Derek joined the firm 4 years ago after working with a direct writer. He will go the extra mile to serve his client. He is a compliance specialist and is proactive in risk management.
Francis 'Chip' Carnes

Chip joined our agency in 2010 and brings with him over 25 years experience in commercial insurance. He works closely with his clients, promoting safety practices and premium reduction programs.

Ronni has over 30 years experience working with commercial insurance. She is a "non profit" specialist who truly understands this industry segment. Her expertise and experience is second to none.
The balance of our staff includes a claims specialist, accounting assistant/receptionist, marketing specialist and seven customer service representatives.
